DRAMATIC ADVENTURE THEATRE: the ZIMBABWE project

	In 2007, DAT teamed up with Forgotten Voices International, a non-profit organization that is doing great work in the region, empowering children who are victims of AIDS. Our team of professional theatre makers developed short pieces with many of these young people all across the country of Zimbabwe. Then they stitched those shorts together to create a full length play entitled, "Voices from Zimbabwe," which performed in several select cities across the North East of the United States.

	DAT is currently seeking funding/partnership for the Bulawayo Young Company, a theatre company and conservatory to be based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and comprised of young local talent. DAT will work in collaboration with Amakhosi Theatre and local artists to mold these talented young people into skilled theatre makers through professional caliber workshops, rehearsals, and performances.
