Vincent Eaton is a Brooklyn based actor, director, playwright and would-be rock star. He studied Theatre Performance and Psychology at Seton Hall University and is the artistic director and co-founder of Genius Savant Productions. He has toured the country with National Theatre for Arts and Education in productions of Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry (during which time he met Jesse, Mary K., and Jamil), The Giver, and The Diary of Anne Frank. His off-off Broadway credits include McGurk's Suicide Hall with Reddmask Theatre, Night of the Innocents with TSI's Playtime Series, and Remember, Someone I Never Knew, and Face Value with Fabel Productions. His first full-length play, Tracks: A Play in Two Sides, received a staged reading at the Red Room Theatre. He has done numerous student films with New York University, New York Film Academy, Brooklyn College, Seton Hall University, and the School for Visual Arts including Wonder, which was screened at the 2008 Coney Island Film Festival. His voice can be heard in the English dub of Genshiken and an Untitled Western Radio Play by KMR Productions. As a student, he has directed productions of Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, a series of staged readings of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and the East Coast premiere of The Twisted Art of Harry Brown. As a would-be rock star, he has fronted such imaginary bands as Harlen Granger's Mercantile, Rosemary 'Splosion, The Gold Stars, and Dr. Dussel and the Electric Mouschi. |
