Mary Notari is an actor and jack-of-all-trades living in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Oberlin College in 2007 where she majored in Theater with an Acting concentration. Oberlin acting credits include Nadia in Travesties, Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Pope Joan/Louise in Top Girls, and Mrs. Watson in the weekly semi-improvised teen dramedy, Standing in Stillwater. At school, she spent her free time working in the Living Machine in the Adam Joseph Lewis Environmental Studies Center and her summers leading kayak tours in North Carolina. Mary has also studied at the Moscow Art Theatre Studio in Russia, where she played Irina in Three Sisters and Sonya in Uncle Vanya. Since moving to New York, she has added puppetry and clown to her list of pursuits. She has performed with Kate Brehm in Dark Space at Chashama @ 42nd (dir. Alexis Macnab) and for FringeNYC in There Will Come Soft Rains (dir. Jon Levin), which went on to be extended in the Fringe Encore Series. She has also performed in readings with the emerging company, No. 11 Productions. |
