Maren Uecker resides in the New York area and is proud to be a thriving actor/singer in this wonderfully brutal city! Originally from Hillsboro, Oregon, she went to the University of Northern Colorado for Musical Theater. There, she competed in the American College Theater Festival and was awarded the Mark Twain Comedic Acting Award. After Graduating Maren Attended The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts for film and television. She has since performed in various workshops, musicals, and plays around the city, including such venues as The Soho Playhouse, and The Flea Theater. Last Year, she had the pleasure of performing in a new choral piece by Elizabeth Swados entitled "Atonement". Some of her favorite roles include Emma in Jekyll and Hyde, Shiela in A Chorus Line, and Magenta in Rocky Horror Picture Show. Having the pleasure of traveling to Europe on with her High School choir, Maren has not traveled out of the country since. She is extremely eager to journey to Ecuador experience the culture, specifically the music and dance, share her skills, and learn a whole lot! |
