Kaylee Mae Tucker is a Drama Major/Education Minor at UC Irvine in
Southern California. She is originally from Santa Cruz, CA and blames her
love of the performing arts on growing up there. Kaylee has performed and
worked with many community theater companies including Mountain Community
Theater, Little People’s Theater, Musical Youth Theater and Hooked on
Theater. Some of her favorite roles include Rusty in Footloose; Olivia in
Twelfth Night; and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing. Though Kaylee
absolutely loves theater, she started performing as a dancer at the age of
3. She’s been trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, salsa and
much more! She has also been trained in voice since age 12 and absolutely
loves to sing. Kaylee’s second love besides theater is service. Since her
Girl Scout days, she has been extensively involved in volunteer work,
ranging from serving the homeless, to cleaning the beach, to collecting
canned foods and to participating in AIDS fundraisers. In 2008, she
traveled to Costa Rica to volunteer in a low-income day care and had an
amazing experience. Kaylee is a member of the National Society for
Collegiate Scholars and hopes to graduate with honors. In the far future,
she hopes to become a Performance Art/Theater Educational Therapist and
use theater to help children overcome their learning disabilities and
other struggles they may face. Kaylee is thrilled to work with Dramatic
Adventure Theater and excited for the adventures to come! |
