Dramatic Adventure Theatre combines three passions:  international exchange, community-oriented theater and new plays.  Kathleen is earning her Master of Fine Arts in Directing at Carnegie Mellon University.  She received her B.A. in Drama and English from Catholic University, studied at Oxford and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  As a Fulbright scholar in Berlin, Kathleen presented the European premiere of Will Eno’s Tragedy:  A Tragedy. Kathleen is an Artistic Associate with Run of the Mill Theater in Baltimore, where her productions of new plays won first and second prize in the 2005 Baltimore Playwrights Festival.   Committed to theater for and by children, Kathleen has developed and directed new plays for Young Playwrights Festivals at Center Stage in Baltimore and City Theater in Pittsburgh.  She also led a Shakespeare summer camp for urban elementary school students in Baltimore City.  Most recently, Kathleen directed the new musical Dani Girl at Carnegie Mellon, and led a theater workshop at the Western Pennsylvania chapter of Gilda’s Club, an international support organization for people touched by cancer.
