Jon Kevin Lazarus is an actor with a background in improv, comedy as well as dramatic works. He is also interested in directing and film making. Jon is currently finishing up his Junior year at Towson University in Baltimore MD where he is majoring in Theatre with a focus in Acting. Jon started doing theatre in high school under the direction of Bob Garmen, where he was a member of South River's Improv team and an actor in various plays with the school. Since then he has done work acting and doing improv at the Maryland State Renaissance Festival, at Towson University, and on Independent projects. He has also worked behind the scenes, building and doing crew work. He has been a part of a wide range of shows and styles both on stage and on camera from works like Arthur Miller's The Crucible to Woody Allen's Don't Drink the Water. Jon has learned a lot from his time at Towson and has grown a lot both as an artist and as a person. He has a passion for traveling and after freshmen year at Towson he embarked upon a backpacking journey around Europe with 3 friends. However his travels started much younger with a family who also loves to see the world. He has been able to travel to Mexico, Costa Rica, Canada, Ireland, England, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Iceland, Spain, Italy, France and a fair amount of the continental US. He loves seeing other cultures and meeting people with different backgrounds and experiences. Jon also worked as a workshop leader in high school which focused on getting incoming students to unite with each other and appreciate each others individuality without allowing petty differences to hold them apart. Jon is very excited to be going to Ecuador and is looking forward to doing work with all the wonderful people he is sure to meet.
