Jesse Baxter dreamt up and co-founded Dramatic Adventure Theatre in an attempt to combine his passions for theatre, cross-cultural exchange, and public service.  Jesse holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Messiah College where he studied both acting & directing, and served as business manager for Alpha Psi Omega (theatrical honor fraternity).  He studied at Temple University in Philadelphia, at Gloucestershire University in England, at the Gaiety School of Acting in Ireland. He also studied viewpoints and composition intensly at the SITI Company in New York City, where he also workshopped composition techniques directly under Anne Bogart.  A self proclaimed journeyman; Jesse Baxter has spent much time exploring this world and has also performed in several national tours.  His credits include “Medea”, “Richard III”, “Jack & the Beanstalk”, “The Illusion”, “American Dream”, “Itadakimasu – a Happy Meal”, “Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry”, “The African Drum”, and recently in Run of the Mill Theatre’s original production of “Variations on Fear”, which was named BEST PRODUCTION OF THE YEAR 2006 by The Baltimore City Paper and OUTSTANDING EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTION 2006 by The Greater Baltimore Theatre Awards.  An actor with a social conscience, Jesse has volunteered with several organizations, including:  “BookPals” as a reader for youth in the New York City public school system, “St. Mary’s Hospital” as a volunteer in the pediatrics department, “We Are All Kenyans Today” as a graphic designer, and as a server, feeding the homeless with various organizations in West Palm Beach, Buffalo, and New York City.
