Heather earned her BA in Theatre Arts from the VA Tech School of the Arts. She Assistant Produced Mina at LaMaMa E.T.C. and Sickle at ATA. She served as a Cultural Envoy to Zimbabwe for the 2008 Intwasa Arts Festival in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe through the US State Department. Primarily a performer, she received the Jean Dalrymple Best Supporting Actress Award. Her New York work includes: Mina and The Book of Lambert at LaMaMa E.T.C.; Deadheading Roses at The Lamb's Theatre; Greyhounds on Theatre Row; Metropolitan Playhouse; The New Acting Company; etc. Her regional work includes: Mill Mountain Theatre, Allenberry Playhouse, Phoenix Theatre, Arizona Jewish Theatre Company, Nearly Naked Theatre, Harrisburg Shakespeare Festival, Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival, The Hampstead Players, Southwest Shakespeare Company, Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre, etc. She performed extensively with the California Theatre Center as well as teaching children ages 8 to 18 in their Theatre Conservatory Program. Her favorite roles include: Rosalind in As You Like It, Ophelia in Hamlet, Jill in Equus, Sorel Bliss in Hay Fever, Sylvie Chauveau-Lagarde in The Queen’s Knight,
Rachel in Shmulnik's Waltz, Carrie in Carousel, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and Eliza in My Fair Lady. Film appearances: Low Battery and Playing Doctor. She is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association. |
