Gillian lives in New York City working as an actor, writer and educational artist. Being brought up in the Berkshires, MA led Gillian to be immersed in the arts. Acting in at least twenty plays before high school graduation, Gillian developed a major case of the acting bug. A passion for Shakespeare led her to Shakespeare & Company's educational and training programs. Gillian has also returned to Shakespeare & Company to teach Shakespeare. When the time came she shipped off to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. There she was able to study with the Atlantic Theater Acting School for three years and minored in Art History. Since graduation, Gillian has been working steadily in independent films, off-off Broadway and regional theater. Gillian has also traveled the globe. At 15 years old she traveled to Japan to take part in The Sapporo International Student Art. This program allowed Gillian to act and have a painting displayed in a Sapporo Gallery. At 22 years old she returned to Asia, this time to China. In China, Gillian was part of a Topics NYU trip focusing on Art, Theater and Film in China. Gillian has also traveled to England, many Islands in the Caribbean, Canada and across the United States. |
