Amanda Cortinas is excited to be joining Dramatic Adventure Theatre for Action:  Ecuador this year. She most recently appeared as a guest star on the Important Things with Demitri Martin Show.  She was also the originator of the role of Adriana on ABC’s One Life to Live.  When she is not acting she dedicates her time to teaching bilingual students at an Elementary School for Performing Arts.  In her spare time she enjoys writing poetry in Spanish and English. She has a love for the art of dance, mainly flamenco.  She likes to incorporate dance into her school curriculum for her students.  This May she will receive her Masters degree in Bilingual Education, and finish her thesis about using music to teach reading.  She is extremely enthusiastic to be able to unite her two passions: acting and teaching for such a beautiful and worthy cause.
