TRAVELOGUE @ The Cornelia Street Café

  • The Cornelia Street Cafe 29 Cornelia St New York, NY, 10014 United States

Travelogue is getting all dressed up for its proud new showcase event at THE Cornelia Street Cafe, the famous "cultural landmark" that has won awards for both its food and performances. This special biannual reading event will feature Travelogue's 'best of the best.' Hand-picked from our past Travelogues, our fully-curated line-up will feature our most well-received monologues, narratives, and sneak-peak new scenes from our resident playwright.

"An artists' cafe... Singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega started out here, as did Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues. Senator & presidential candidate Eugene McCarthy & attorney-activist William Kunstler have read their poetry; Dr. Oliver Sacks continues to read his prose. Nobel Laureate Roald Hoffmann presents a monthly Science Series; members of Monty Python & the Royal Shakespeare Company intermittently perform."

This special Travelogue event -- filled with creative travelers, supportive friends, and fun performances -- costs $8 at the door and INCLUDES a free drink.  All Travelogue storytellers will also receive a prize complimentary DAT T-shirt in appreciation for sharing.

See you at Travelogue!
