MINDO

After your exciting second week in Ecuador, you'll be thankful to arrive in Mindo, a sleeping town in the cloud forest. Here you will spend most of your time enjoying the temperature and reflecting on all you've experienced while in the country. You'll work with your director formulating the cast's production for the NYC showcase.

This is adventurous travel.

It won't be all work and no play. Group excursions include zip-lining over the canopy, tubing down the town river, and visits to the orchid farm with about 100 varieties of orchids. Your own personal excursions could include trips to the waterfalls, the aquarium, and, or a frog concert!

TAKING ACTION:

1. Decompress from your last two weeks and collect your thoughts to share with your cast members and directors.

2. Create and rehearse your short play, scene, or monologue.

3. Experience a whole new side of Ecuador in Mindo.

WEEK THREE - ITINERARY:

MINDO
Day 17: Travel to Mindo
Day 18-22: Rehearse and Experience Mindo, Canopy and Tubing will all happen in one day, to be determined based on when your group is there.
Day 23: Return to Quito for another overnight, e-mail one last time, and visit the market to buy last minute souvenirs

PACKING SUGGESTIONS FOR MINDO:

Since your work is over, it's time to get to play- your PLAY, that is. If you've packed well for the last two weeks, you'll be fine, here are some last minute suggestions for what to bring:

- raincoat - it's very misty in Mindo, and you'll be happy to have it
- 1 pair of "hardcore sandals"
- swim suit - don't forget this, as some excursions include water outings
- Sunscreen! (30-50 or more. Remember, you will be on the equator!)
- Bug spray - you'll be so thankful you brought it
- 1 towel
